An isotope is an element that has two or more structural variation,it has the same number of protons and electrons but differs in the number of neutrons While A radioactive isotope is unstable,generally heavier isotopes are unstable.And radioactive isotopes are used in medical diagnoses and treatment as well as biochemical research.
