How can you determine whether an equation is linear or non-linear?

If the graph of the equation is straight, it is linear. If it is not, then it is non-linear.

Hello There!

Linear simply means straight.
Graph out your equation and see if it is straight.
If it is, then it is a linear equation.
If it isn't straight, then it is a non linear equation.
