What you should see for this case are the values for which the denominator is NOT defined.
 We have then that in this case the values are:
 (n ^ 2 -2) = 0
 Clearing n we have:
 (n ^ 2) = 2
 n = + / - sqrt (2)
 Answer:
 the restrictions are:
 n = + / - sqrt (2)
