what factors affect your ability to maintain homeostasis?

It really depends because homeostasis is what keeps you alive . For example when you go outside and run you begin to sweat and that is because your body is trying to keep the temperature of 98.6 degrees . So some factors that could probably effect your body from maintaining homeostasis would be you getting sick.
