The cedar trail is 2 7/8 miles long and the maple trail is 1 1/2 miles long. How much longer is the cedar trail than the maple trail?

Take 2 7/8 and subtract 1 1/2 and we get 1 3/8. In conclusion, the Cedar Trail is 1 3/8 mile longer than the Maple Trail.
